Grizzly Iron Damascus Workshop

Check in 3:30-4 Friday afternoon

This class will be focused on making Damascus, the basics and then delving into varying patterns. We will explore the common patterns as well as some mosaic patterns and how to apply them. Each student should come away with 2-3 finished billets that you can further refine on your own. You will learn how to prepare the material, several different patterns, the basics of grinding, etching the Damascus, and finishing.

Some previous blacksmithing experience is required. You will need to bring safety glasses, forging gloves, hammer, and tongs.
